Attempting to "prolong the magic" of being up in the late and quiet, where no binders full of nursing lecture notes could disturb me for a few hours, circa 2AM, just as I was going to bed, I got an instant message from Heidi. I promptly told her that I was running to bed at the moemnt, but assured her that "It was nice to talk to her this morning!" That is, on the phone. WHat ensued looked something like this:
heidini: that was this morning?
heidini: no. that was yesterday
sowickedawesome: yeap :)
sowickedawesome: yeah
heidini: it had to be
heidini: heh
sowickedawesome: yesterday morning
sowickedawesome: heh
heidini: or else im losing my mind
sowickedawesome: noo
sowickedawesome: like
sowickedawesome: if today wasn't 2AM for me
heidini: i was in class 8-5 today though
sowickedawesome: ermmm
sowickedawesome: hrmmm
heidini: heh
heidini: go to bed, cass.
sowickedawesome: I'm losing MY mind
sowickedawesome: hee
sowickedawesome: I'm going, I'm goign!

Sorry for standing you up today, but you know, I'm just overloaded. If I make flashcards or read or write or something, you're great to study with, but tired as I am, I know that I'd soon get reeeeally bored studying flashcards and looking at AP texts - and then I'd talk to you and not get anything done. Last week was awesome for getting me started, but now it's just like, I need to plow through it all. I promise I'll practice therepeutic irresponsibility all summer long though! you can do it sar!!! only a few more to go!!
cass cass cass. that totally made me laugh. Especially because it was only 11:30 pm here and I was still coherent. that was totally monday morning. So YOU'RE "sowickedawesome." I've seen you come on and couldn't for the life of me figure out who you were. Heh. Stupid me. I was SO SURE too, Heids, that I had spoken to you that morning. After you told me to go to bed I actually laughed out loud and I knew this one was worth saving. :)
Kate, I find it hard to imagine that you didn't pinpoint that one to me right away! I mean, really! :D Actually, I'm sure you said something to yourself like, "Kate K, you are a paid professional radio professional! What are you doing with these childish buddies on your Instant Messenger?!"
Sarah - you know I'm never talking to you again after this. So just stop trying to win me back. My heart will forever be cold towards you. Let this be the last time I get stood up for a nursing textbook! Psht!
