Woop, woop!

A ninety-six on my Theology of Prayer Midterm. Woop, woop! It's my birthday, it's my birthday!

And the peasants... rejoice.

In other news... Tonight is TAWAKT, for which I have to teach. For Benjamin's sake, I should say that my little brother (who took over Benj's class when he left) is doing a mahvelous job teaching the boys class. My brother (this is Andrew) is really pretty quiet, as well as fairly shy. He likes talking, but only to certain people. In other words, he likes talking to smart people. Stupid/"people who are not as smart as him" people entertain him, but that's about it. That, you see, is the unfortunate thing. Unfortunately, my little (err.. big. He's taller than me) brother is near-genius, in my opinion. I may be accused of a conflict-of-interest bias, being that he's my little bro, but, I assure you, it disgusts me as much as it disgusts you. Anyways, this presents a problem, since most people at least act far more stupidly than he does in his quiet, aloof sort of state, most people don't offer him much in terms of conversation. So people generally think he doesn't like to talk. Anyways, he's been teaching this AWANA-type class for guys that are only a couple of years younger than him. This is the cool part, though. At first, he was really nervous. When he gets nervous, such as before his music recitals, he is so clammed up that you can barely get a word out of him for two days prior to whatever event he's nervous about. Obviously, I could tell he was more nervous about this stupid teaching job that had been thrown at him than he had been in a while. The first time he taught, he was somewhat discouraged. But the second time... it was cool. I had been praying for him, and afterwards I asked him how it went. This time, he actually smiled and said that it went well. That really encouraged me - Wait, God really does answer prayers! Though it may not seem like a big deal to some of you guys who don't know him, to me, this is an enormous thing. It shows that not only does God work my prayers into my life, but he also works in the lives of others. And I think that is so. darn. cool.

Anyways. Woop woop for many hours of hardcore studying paying off in the end.

Cassieheh. Actually, dearies, it's not my actual birthday. It's just, like, that thing were you're celebrating and you wave you hands kinda like this *demonstrates flailing arms* and you jump around like this *does that thing* and then you're all, "It's my birthday, it's my birthday!" Heh. Maybe you had to be there... I love the chinese smiley face. Although he's kinda stern. Must be that whole "Chinese school had just begun, no more laughing no more fun" thing.
