SarahHey, guys - pray for Cass and her family. (I always know when she's quiet that she has a lot on her mind.) It's kinda too much to write about, I guess. As Cass started school this week, YiaYia took a really bad turn - mentally and physically. It's hard on Cass being away, and not being able to help, and it's hard on her family period. They don't want to put her somewhere where she's not cared for...but it's hard to do yourself. Nobody really knows why she's gone downhill so much - sometimes she's crazy, throwing things, seeing piles of kittens, and yelling all night so nobody can sleep for watching her. Right now she's just still, not speaking, not really eating or looking at anyone. Her mom doesn't really know what to think half the time. They're all trying their loveliest, but there's heartbreak any way you look. It's heartbreaking if YiaYia lives and stays like this, and it's heartbreaking if YiaYia dies and doesn't go to heaven. Please just keep them in your prayers. (And if you don't have prayers, well, give us your name and we'll pray for you.) Thanks.

chevytruckerPray especially too for Cassie's Mom. It takes a lot of strength and endurance to do all that she has to do. She has a family to take care of besides. I dare say that Cassie has helped a lot of us when we were going through difficult times but right now she is the one that could use the support. The best thing that you could do right now is to get off of your computer and find a quiet spot to commune with God in prayer. As a wise man once said, "When I work, I work. When I pray, God works."

I like to multi-task: wife, writer, nurse, Christian, ne'er do well. I do all with equal gusto.
