Juxtapose

Recently, after a long day of a trip, Sarah Jo, Zach, and Lauren all came home to hang at our house with Chaz and I after I got home from work, not able to have taken the day off of work to make it on the daytrip with them. We had, as they say, a rollicking good time. Turkey was brought out, as usual, and the fun commenced. [The previous was a portrait of Turkey and Zach] Some pictures, for your viewing pleasure, with commentary:

Exhibit a - The Room. We were, as usual, hanging in Chaz and Drew's room, which, as can be seen in this photo evidence, is immensely clean and impeccably organized. In this picture can also be seen the lovely Lauren (short, dark hair), the lovely Tessa (back of head, long brunette hair), and me, sprawled on the top bunk. Despite how I look in the picture, I am, in fact, taller than three feet.

Charlie spent most of his time explaining to us, in his best Youth Pastor Lael impression, the mechanics of the day, as well as time frames, scheduling, etc. for the night's activities. Zach ignored him, mostly (but what else is new?) and instead decided to read about himself in the newspaper. That's him. That's Zach, and he's Comin' Back.

During the course of the night, I caught quite a chill, so I snuggled under a sheet. Then I realized that I was nestled between a number of cardboard boxes and newspapers and that I was clutching a can of SPAM in one hand, and Turkey in the other. Almost as if I were... no.. it couldn't be.... - but I was.. I mean, I am... ..a hobo.

So the hobo routine got old really quickly. I mean, you can?t say I didn?t try, right? We then found other ways to amuse ourselves. And don?t you remember that other movie? You know, the one with Shaq in it? Oh, come on.. you know that one? the Disney movie called ?Chazach!??

But, I have to say ? Sarah Jo was truly the highlight of the evening, as usual. You know, what with her party tricks and all. Tossin? that hat right off of her foot, she was. She got it right onto Charlie?s head, too. As you can see, Zach was truly amazed.
