For everything else, there's Mastercard.
Driving three and a quarter hours for a one-hour commute to and from school: $6
Finding out classes are cancelled from 10AM on when you're at school for your 8AM class and buying a coffee to calm my nerves and keep me from ousting the Dean of the college: $0.75
Finally getting home in a snowstorm, parking in the neighbor's driveway because I couldn't skid into my own, opening the door to the house, and eating two of Mum's warm cranberry muffins with lots of butter and a tall glass of cold water: Priceless.
And I mean it.
The novelty of the winter season is fast wearing thin. I need more coffee.

We aren't getting winter weather. It hasn't been below freezing for more than a week at a time. It's kinda wierd. It's been like the end of March instead of the end of January. It's been like this all winter too.

Poor Cassie! We aren't getting any snow here either. The other day it was in the 60's! From what I hear it is going to start getting colder though.

I know! We actually had a day where it was 60-something outside and I drove home from school with the windows down. It was incredible. Then... this atrocity. The snow isn't so bad, it's the crazy driving that does you in. Not to mention, once you get out of the driveway it's totally hit or miss whether you'll make it make in, and they'll plow right into your car if you leave it on the side of the road. Not cool.

Aw, I actually wish I was home in the snowstorm right about now. Here just isn't the same as New England. Nothin beats home.
