Beautiful Words

Permalink 08:00:00 am by cassie, Categories: Announcements [A]

Thursday, in Chatham, VA, visiting family with Mark and Tess:

"Hey Vern."

"Yeah?"

"Guess what?"

"What?"

"On Sunday I'm going back home with you, not just dropping you off at the airport."

BrianI don't know if Abbey has seen this yet or not, but she saw "Ye Olde Lake House" as well and found it boring.

Mom VDHSo it appears that I'm the only one in the world that liked the Lake House. I'll have to admit the time travel aspect was confusing at times. If there had been subtitles to make it clear what year they were in,it would have been better. But other than that I thought the movie was good. Ebert and Roeper gave it 2 thumbs up.I guess because it was a no sex/violence/vulgar language type of movie was it's appeal too.Or Maybe it's movie that only a Forty something person would like.

MinxlingAre you getting married THIS Sunday??? I feel so out of the loop, but . . . congratulations whenever. And I think the blog-gush is very sweet and enjoyable.

JenNo no. She is getting married in January. But her boy is living in her town now. Which makes him a home boy.

TessaThis kinda reminds me of when Annie and I were looking for you and Mark. So we asked Jamie and he just says "Oh, I think they are downstairs making out or something and every one just starts making puking sounds.

CrystalCassandra. I miss you. P.S. When you say your full name, do you pronouce the middle A like an O as in "mop" or like an A as in "lamp"?

Comment from: heedy [Visitor]

JoelHey, I am going to step out on a limb here and tell you that i saw the Lake House with my girlfriend and her family. I really liked it.The concept was really cool. Only bad thing was I had most of the story line figured out by like the first half hr. So dont be to quick to judge. This is coming from a guy, so it must not be to bad huh?

AnnieI have to get used to it,your going to be married for crying out loud. You're aloud to be gushy,if you are engaged and married. At least in my book anyway...

Comment from: Cassie [Visitor]
CassieI hate chick flicks too.. well.. mostly. Except for THE LAKE HOUSE!!!!! hehe. I'm kidding. I've never seen The Lake House, but Mark's mom says we HAVE to see it and Mark won't do it. heh. And I try not to be too gushy. Buuuut. I'm only human. Jamie, I'd write a million mushy posts to get on your nerves. That's how much I love you.
10/30/06 @ 18:26
Comment from: nika [Visitor]
nika Oh, Cassie, Cassie, do yourself a favour and STAY AWAY FROMT THE LAKE HOUSE. seriously. it's the first Sandra Bullock movie that I've seen and DISliked. :( I saw it in the theater and was bored to tears; maybe I'll rent it and give it another chance. I felt so bad for not liking it...I mean, come on! Sandra Bullock + Keanu Reeves = perfect movie. blaarrhhahhr. fine, I'll watch it again, if you do. :P

CrystalI don't know either. Keanu has sunk dreadfully low in my opinion since the first Matrix, in which his blank, incredulous stares actually complemented his character.
