So it appears that I'm the only one in the world that liked the Lake House. I'll have to admit the time travel aspect was confusing at times. If there had been subtitles to make it clear what year they were in,it would have been better. But other than that I thought the movie was good. Ebert and Roeper gave it 2 thumbs up.I guess because it was a no sex/violence/vulgar language type of movie was it's appeal too.Or Maybe it's movie that only a Forty something person would like.
Are you getting married THIS Sunday???
I feel so out of the loop, but . . . congratulations whenever.
And I think the blog-gush is very sweet and enjoyable.
My normal response would be "I think I just threw up in my mouth a little bit"
But, this requires something better.
EH, I got nothing. Congrats. I hope you live happily ever after in a galaxy far..FAR..away.
This kinda reminds me of when Annie and I were looking for you and Mark. So we asked Jamie and he just says "Oh, I think they are downstairs making out or something and every one just starts making puking sounds.
WHOA what a coincidence, because cassie's childhood nickname was... mop.lamp. Mop-lamp. girl.
okay, i got nothing. i just came by to say, update your weblog.
Hey, I am going to step out on a limb here and tell you that i saw the Lake House with my girlfriend and her family. I really liked it.The concept was really cool. Only bad thing was I had most of the story line figured out by like the first half hr. So dont be to quick to judge. This is coming from a guy, so it must not be to bad huh?
I have to get used to it,your going to be married for crying out loud. You're aloud to be gushy,if you are engaged and married. At least in my book anyway...
I hate chick flicks too.. well.. mostly. Except for THE LAKE HOUSE!!!!!
hehe. I'm kidding. I've never seen The Lake House, but Mark's mom says we HAVE to see it and Mark won't do it. heh.
And I try not to be too gushy. Buuuut. I'm only human.
Jamie, I'd write a million mushy posts to get on your nerves. That's how much I love you.
Oh, Cassie, Cassie, do yourself a favour and STAY AWAY FROMT THE LAKE HOUSE.
seriously. it's the first Sandra Bullock movie that I've seen and DISliked. :( I saw it in the theater and was bored to tears; maybe I'll rent it and give it another chance. I felt so bad for not liking it...I mean, come on! Sandra Bullock + Keanu Reeves = perfect movie. blaarrhhahhr. fine, I'll watch it again, if you do. :P
I don't know either. Keanu has sunk dreadfully low in my opinion since the first Matrix, in which his blank, incredulous stares actually complemented his character.
